Speaking of Firework Boxes, i found one the other day and they are back in the loot pool, well in advance of next anniversary.
was there an update? I didn’t get one. did you get generation zero on steam? I know steam updates automatically.
No. Unless you’re talking about February '21 update.

Not quite. Depends on what settings you have. E.g for me, no game updates unless i give steam explicit right to download the update for that game.
Do note that in GZ, we can have timed events and no update is required to start/end those.
so then how do you have firework boxes in the loot pool? is that just a pc thing? Cuz I would love to be able to get firework boxes.
There are currently Firework Boxes in the loot pool on PC, due to the devs testing some things before the Anniversary Event starts. It’s just for a short time, to confirm some issues.
