There really seems no good reason against it.
Past level 20, 25, you get more versatile, you can stop worrying about certain things (quality of life), but you don’t really get game-breakingly stronger at that point?
Unless you count “must start a new character to experience all skills, but at the same time can’t replay the quests” as a good reason.
I don’t.

I find myself burning through experience points just to get a particular exp gun. (xbox) Taking me through 70% of game just to earn a 6*. Not as lucky as others. Expanding levels a bit - for incentive purposes- would be nice or even passing a challenge early stages for single choice 6* would be great.
