Loot Screen Cancel

It’s minor in comparison to the scale of “real issues” but annoying none the less.

While looting anything, if an enemy explodes it cancels the loot screen. It is consistent with robots, ammo boxes, and tool boxes. If i pick a door lock, and an enemy explodes, it cancels the unlock and still takes a lock-pick from inventory.

And while i’m on it, you should be able to arrange your inventory while at a plundra box instead of having to cancel out to arrange it.

It’s an issue worth reporting :slight_smile: Does this happen at any range? Like, I can understand if an enemy explodes right next to you but if they’re farther away that’s just strange. And yeah, I can agree with Plundra, that could use some improvement too.

Yes any range where the explosion can be heard. Even enemies that were not in direct combat with can cancel out the loot screen.

For example, if you trigger a tick but doesn’t engage combat - if you are in loot screen when it detonates itself, it cancel out the screen and you have to start the search, loot cycle again.

I need to check this out next time I play, see if I can record it happening.

This is why I run around with binoculars in my hands most of the time in this game… You click on some things you want to loot and the screen disappears, and you shoot your foot :crazy_face:

I’ve had this happen on occasion too, though I haven’t been able to figure out a pattern (I’ve only seen it happen in co-op, and I don’t play co-op much).
