I’ve heard alot of people in DEV streams asking about pets or machines that you can use during combat. I wanted to see if I can make this work.
The ways I imagine you could get one of these -

You would talk to him and would have to have a said amount of components to create one.
I don’t want to go into to much detail but you would have to be over lvl 26.

This is huge lomgshot since we don’t know what this place is yet. But just incase its a bot fighting place. Lab or something or other then I’d want it to play out like this.

It would take alot of effort and component scavenging. This would be very time consuming.
I imagine being able to go up to hunters and THEN you go into brand new machine variants specifically for this Porpouse.
But when your powerful enough to take down an Apocalypse Tank what’s the point?

For now this is the only way I think they could work because its hard to make something like this be balanced and work.
