Hey, my main profile was deleted after logging into Steam on a new PC. Any advice on how to remedy this? And no, i didn’t have a backup since Steam Cloud is a thing but i guess i was wrong lol.
I dont much trust these cloud saves. Did you try to sync your steam cloud save before launching the game, so it wont sync empty saves to steam after launching game first?
If you have your old PC still on hand, your saves will be there. Just search these forums for how to copy them.

I didnt do that 
… And I still have my old pc on hand, ill give the forms another try. Some of the directions on here to get the save back are a bit confusing to me, which is why I posted this topic. Thanks for your kind response i appreciate it!
The save files are stored in your user directory; C:/Users/#username#/Documents/Avalanche Studios/GenerationZero/Saves/#long_number#/.
The files of your interest are “savegame” and “savegame.bak”.
If your savegame file is broken, just remove it and remove “.bak” from the other filename.
Make sure you backup your save-folder before launching GenZero on your old machine, you really do NOT want to overwrite your precious savefile with the new blank one…
