Making Rivals a bit more consistent

I have heard a lot of cases where people grinded a LOT of XP in order to get a rival to spawn, often having to clear out an entire region of machines.

Furthermore, the current way of letting yourself die to level up the rival is kind of weird.

What I suggest is this:

  • Make the chance of a rival spawning upon a machine kill or player death trigger equal to “10% times Region Level”
  • This would mean that at region level 10, the chance is 100%
  • Furthermore, have the rival gain 50% of the region score when it spawns to reduce the amount of grind needed to get it to level 4
  • This would also compensate the unlucky players since their rival would start with a higher level than the lucky players.
