myself and some friends are talking about the buildings that are left, what if when a machine attacks a house ur hiding in it takes some kind of damage from the attacks and u can repair in the resistance update for crafting, or once u leave and come back the houses are repairs, makes it more realistic with what it would be like in the real world, just a thought, i have many these days
Sorry but could you explain a little better? do you mean like battlefield type of destruction?
hi mate, another words like if ur using building to protect urself and a machine attacks the building it will sustain some damage, but u can repair it urself or it restores once u go out and come back
Unless the walls crumble and your cover lessens (e.g hole in the wall, or up to point where entire house crumbles down), i see no reason why to spend my resources to repair it.
well i spoke to dev and he told me to add here so i thought it would be a nice touch due to u can reinforce and improve while u play so that u dont die as much and survive better
just a random idea that popped into my head thoght id share it
I’m curious, which one?
But in general, yes. If you have an idea about the game, feel free to post it in the forums here.
Here, i’m lost. In which way, your ability to repair the building you’re taking cover in, is tied to your survivability?
@SR_knivspark was the one i was talking to
and yes the ability to repair the houses that ur taking cover in temperily so that the player can survive longer while under attack, just a thought the dev doesn’t have to be added just an idea
But why whould you repair it? if you are just going away after the battle
then once u leave it repairs itself, but atleast u have the ability of the building to become damaged
Devs brought this up in a stream a long while back.
The APEX engine was not designed to make an environment that could be actively destroyed.
If they wanted to add this they would have to completely re-program the whole engine. Something Avalanche Studios Group would most likely not approve of.
