I believe they mean as when you look at the map in game, you see topological map lines. They indicate rising altitude or cliff faces. Typically one line equals 20 feet.

No, I meant the graduation interval was in m.
It could be different if you use metric or imperial as a form of measurement. Just like weight is different for metric or imperial.
I know that because of the contours on the map it is easy to stalk or evade the machines.
