Noticed after last update, there is noticeable reduction in comm.array lures from seekers. And increased amount of vision modules. Also these new crafting materials.
So has mechanic skill lost its effectiveness because new items in the robot loot tables? And most seekers are just empty, haven’t done any list or counted them.
Killed 6 of them in a row, and only thing to found was metal scrap and vision module. I think with 50% chance to get components would get more.
Got that skill max level 2/2.
I dont mind this change, if in future we get to craft lures, traps, mines etc stuff with out loot. Sad i lost my great source of lures, but i have to adapt for future if this is WAI.
As I understand it the loot depends on where the bullets hit the machine… for example if you want the vision module try not to hit there “eyes”… and then you have the chance of getting the vision module.
I try to hit seekers on their engines and bring them down this way so hopefully nothing gets destroyed. Another tactic might be to throw a small EMP grenade at them and shot their engines while they’re downed.
This is something i have discussed on these forums before, and i always shoot engines on those seekers hoping any valuable survives.
But on my experience and feeling based and with mechanic skill, shooting those seekers with any weapon any spot, chance to retrieve certain part comes down to the skill.
Too lazy to start collecting data and analysing does shooting different component actually help.
I just like to enjoy my daily robots hunts.
