Melee Weapons Bug

I titled this melee weapons bug however I only have had experience with the specific bug when using the Brännboll Bat.

Platform: Xbox One

Description: Me and 2 other friends are unable to do damage to enemies when using the bat. We attacked a dog for a solid minute with no signs of damage, including when doing a power attack.

Steps To Reproduce: Equip bat and attempt to use on enemies

Images / Videos: None

Host or Client: Had the issue as both host and client

Players in your game: Issue occurred with 1 and 2 other players

Specifications: Xbox 1 X and Xbox 1 S

I was unable to find another bug report and if it is in fact a form of user error then please explain how the weapons are meant to be used.

Based on your description, i’d say it’s a game bug, or the very least, sync issue in MP.

That being said, can you kill machines with melee weapons in solo play? If you can, the issue is with multiplayer part of the game. If you can not, the issue is global.
