My multiplayer is not working. Every time I try to invite my friend, it says “Your connection attempt to the multiplayer session has timed out” and every time he tries to invite me, it says the same thing. I’m playing on PS4 and he’s playing on PS5. We both can join random sessions just fine. I have always tried to invite him into a private session. Public sessions don’t work either. We both have the latest version of the game, and both of our internet connections are working. Any idea as to why this is happening?
How are both of you following the invitation?
Directly from consoles Dashboard, after launching the game from mainmenu or while playing?
We’ve both tried letting the game start from the invite, inviting while one is in the menu, and inviting while one is in game. None of these have worked.
