Me and my friend can’t play with each other cause when i try and join him it trys for 10 seconds then says it timed out. We both able to join random multiplayer sesions, we are both in ps4.
Are you on dashboard or in the game / the mainmenu when you try to follow the invitation?
I tried the menu and I tried joining them from the ps homescreen
In the past me and my mate often had this problem when trying to join from within the game (main menu). Trying it while the game was closed, directly from the playstation dashboard, always was succesful.
But that was at least a year ago.
So, another idea.
How are you both connected to internet?
WiFi or by cable?
What’s your both NAT-Type?
He uses a hotspot that works as he even plays mw3 and warzone on it and I have normal wifi, we both have nat type 2. I’m gonna try it with a different friend and see if it’s just a issue on there part.
