New bug report on radio deployment not working

**Platform:**PC

**Description:**Radio won’t work when deployed

**Steps To Reproduce:**Place radio into slot and then activate slot. Radio is there but there is no red (can’t deploy) or green (will be deployed here( box to indicate where you want it. If you hit the key to deploy it, it does deploy but won’t activate and you can’t recover/get it back. Boombox still works fine and does display the RED (no go) and GREEN (go) box and activates after deployment. All worked fine yesterday but today (first day of partying together with the machines in GZ!)

I can confirm that the drop icon for the radio doesn’t appear and that you rag doll throw it. My radio still played and lured runners to it.
Equip a radio and toss it

Just an idea…
What do your games settings look like?
Maybe there is an option that accidently deactivates the Green/Red markers for the radio.

Can you see the ping-icons ingame?

It still works on Boombox and other placement items like the Field Radio , Explosive Toy Dog and others.

Yes, I know, but that’s what I assumed… That accidently the devs bound it to an option like the Ping marker.

radios were never able to be set on the ground like boomboxs, :disappointed: u can only throw radios

like car batteries & large EMPs can set on the ground like the boombox  but medium EMP can only be thrown

there is no green red markers for radios, only the boomboxes
