Ok, so the challenge reset for new characters might be a decent idea, or not. I don’t even know if it was intentional or just a new bug introduced with another bug fix. However, if it was intentional it was an ill thought through way to implement it.
Some challenges might be fun to play through again but how on earth do we play through the mission dependent challenges when we can’t reset missions for new characters? Let’s say I have the Legendary Guitar Hero title on one character (You can only have it on one character as it stands) but I want to remove that character and create a new one. That challenge reward will be gone forever. Who forgot to think this through properly?

I’m quite certain it’s a bug. They’ve never mentioned anything about challenges intentionally resetting when you make a new character. If it was done on purpose they would’ve mentioned it for sure.
Not to mention that it resets the challenges for all your characters, since all characters still share the same challenge progress. Definitely a bug. And quite a severe one.

The devs are aware of this bug already, i believe its being looked into.

I have the same problem, if I create a new character.
Every new character wipe all challanges again…
Please fix ist ASAP!

Same happened to me, as if having to grind machines to get back to max level once again wasnt painful enough.
