If you have played alpine unrest In the dialog when Anita is trying to give you there location Benny interrupts her and says not to give it to you because you could be a looter and I quote “ for all we know they’re looters,or worse. Like that military platoon” this means that they have came in contact with a hostile group of looters or a military platoon so why not have as a new dlc us fighting these people because from what is seems like you are supposed to be a good person in the story if you are not then why are helping people and not killing them. So here is how I think the beginning of the DLC could go one of these groups could show up somehow and demand things/resources you say no and it then begins the whole new story maybe you could take over on of the bunkers and be able to fortify it like how we are allowed to build our base and maybe in this bunker you find a old jeep that needs a new engine and many parts for that engine, wheels and all other types of things to fix up the jeep and if the jeep gets shot by the machines or these new groups then you would have to repair it with a lot of resources and if it gets completely destroyed then you have to completely repair it and it would also need gas to run and maybe have it so that gas is hard to get then you could add more points of interest gas stations that only restock with more gas every now and then and then maybe you could find some gas if you kill a tank a certain way like by not damaging there gas tank I hope some of this if not all of this is added to the game at one point and if not at least considered.
