New Experimental Weapons Help

I know this is always a “roll your eyes post” but I’ve completed the new island missions, and left with only the “fever pitch attempts” to snag the new experimentals, done Reapers and Tyrants, FNIX assaults etc—4 days nonstop, but not a one…

Anybody got a clue?

Drop rate is pretty low. I heard some players had to destroy several Reaper and Vultures just to get 1. I destroyed 10 rivals, 3 vultures and only got 2 exp shotguns. So yeah, you’ll need to grind some more.

Are you on Playstation? Cause’ I haven’t got an exp shotgun yet but I have two exp HP5’s

I experienced the exact same thing. I then read here that another player had a similar problem but then picked up an experimental off a destroyed rival in the marshlands. Since that’s predominantly soviet territory, I went there- and picked up an experimental AI- 76 within a couple of hours. Give it a try. You might be fortunate.

Maybe the exp weapons drop rates depend on the used system. I also got just 3 exp HP5 on PS5.

  • exp HP5 for PS5
  • exp ai76, or cross-caliber-gun, for Xbox
  • exp sjöqvist, dragons breath, for Steam
    Somehow fits :joy:

Do base assaults and kill big Rivals in class 2 or 3.

Level 4 Rivals don’t seem to give the right loot, if any weapons some times - Usually get better from a lvl 2 or 3.

Ive only gotten the hp5

But yeah rival loot seems a bit…odd? Right now
God i hope that doesn’t just get left like that cause grinding is pretty much all the games got as far as post game content goes

got shotgun & hp5, missing ai76 only

Not only Rivals, Base assult too.
Just did a lvl 3 assault and didn’t get any weapon or accessories.

there’s a glitch that happened to me a couple times, no completion screens showing rewards, :open_mouth: the screen doesn’t show me what I got from base assault, but the rewards are there, had to reset game to get glitch go away

Today I initially had something new to me.
All Controlpoints were gone from the map.
No neutral ones, no FNIX bases, no resistance ones.

For luck the bases themselves were still there.

I restarted the game and the map showed them again.

But again… No luck with rivals and bases. Not a single experimental weapon.
