So my friend and I just started this game co-op together we picked up the guns and the first med kits together just fine they showed up in our inventory. when we get to the church to get the shotgun when I pick it up it disappears and my partner cannot pick it up they even reloaded their game and the shotgun is still not there same goes for the rifle and scope that you pick up. whenever I pick up a weapon my partner cannot get it and it does not show up in their game
And not being able to start a new game on a new world is kind of weird I mean what do you do when you finish the game how are you ever going to be able to play the game again without uninstalling it I think this is the first game I’ve ever came across where you cannot start a new game I for one like having the game that I play with my friends and the game that I played by myself this issue needs to be addressed please
No I hear you that’s why I posted cuz I’m a newbie too I appreciate your response because now I know that the weapons come back so that’s cool thank you for the information I appreciate you they need to make it so when one clicks on a weapon everybody can click on the weapon

I feel obligated to warn you about the lack of punctuation and the confusion between the words “in” and “and”. I seems you used “in” instead of “and” at least twice, and the lack of punctuation made reading your comment a bit more difficult than it should have been.
Preplaced weapons such as that shotgun do not respawn, the only things that respawn are stuff inside crates, ammo boxes and civilian loot after you have spent 4 hours playing. I have a quick question tho, did they ever pick up the shotgun in your save or another persons save? If so then theres the reason it isnt in their save
Well at first my friend had picked it up and it disappeared for me and they dropped it on the ground because they didn’t like shotguns and figured they could just go get it in their game but it was never there
Will you see that’s kind of my problem you know if you’re in the world together your partner should be able to pick up the exact same thing as well otherwise what’s really the point in playing because if your partner picks it up in your game well it’s picked up in their game too and they get nothing in their game cuz it saves for their game so then it being screwed and they don’t get any weapons because they played my game and it saved on Theres
I really think this is one of those things that should be explained somehow in and by the game. I don’t feel like relying on a random Good Samaritan met online to explain how this mechanic works is good design.
(It still played at least an hour earlier today and I plan to play again today.)
Yeah things definitely need to change this is the only game where you can’t start a brand new game on a brand new world it’s like what happens when you beat the game just might as well delete the game and never played again at that point cuz you’ve already finished the game and you can’t make a new game a lot of things need to change in this game being able to share being able to pick up weapons for all party members… not being able to start a new game really pisses me off though first game in history where you cannot start a new game lol
All I’m saying is it would be nice to start a new game to where I could have the game I play with my friend and the game I play with myself that’s all I’m trying to say how do you get on different map?
