This could be a thing if Tick would not self destruct 
Every machine can become a rival if it kills a player. These are the personal rivals.
I’m sure I already saw a rival tick… But as fast as it killed my almost dead body, it self-destructed. No way to make a screenshot of its profile.
A few hours later I reminded that I could have saved the recordings of the last seconds/minutes to have a proof… Too late.
Your fnix class rival runner just has a false skin in his profile tab… It looks like a military runner.

And the Rival Tick should of course only destruct and not self-destruct.

What’s the requirement for a machine becoming rival? I would have bet I’ve already seen one, but everything was full of machines and there was a great chaos. And… Like I described above.
Positive. Never seen one or heard the devs mention it. Are you okay? Battle fatigued perhaps?
