Alongside the other main mission, there could be another mission, where you search and destroy heavily guarded factories (possibly underground?), which are responsible for producing the robots in their region they are located in. Destroying it could also slow down the robot respawn time, or possibly make it so some of the robots in that region can’t respawn at all, therefore making it easier to traverse through previously explored regions, and provide the player with more things to do, and maybe even be a good source of tick pods, and machine parts.
