Newgame+ New weapons and enemies

For starters a newgame+ would be nice but lets get to the main topic.

WEAPONS…
Missing weapons in fact for the country at that time period. THEY NEED TO BE IN.
Variety of weapons are severely lacking for the country in that time period.

Missing weapons include:

Ksp m/42 machine gun - derivative of the M1919A6 chambered in 6.5×55mm or 8×63mm patron m/32 and from 1975 in 7.62×51mm NATO.

Automatgevär m/42 - Ag m/42, outside of Sweden commonly known as the AG42, AG-42 or Ljungman) is a Swedish semi-automatic rifle which saw limited use by the Swedish Army from 1942 until the 1960s.

Mauser Karabiner 98k - Exported to civi markets as a hunting rifle by then. Rechambered by gunsmiths for European and American sporting chamberings such as the 6.5×55mm Swedish Mauser, 7×57mm Mauser, 7×64mm, .270 Winchester, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, 8×60mm S, 8×64mm S, etc. The magnum hunting cartridges 6.5×68mm, 8×68mm S and 9.3×64mm Brenneke were even specially developed by German gunsmiths for the standard military Mauser 98 action.

FN MAG - Belgian 7.62 mm general-purpose machine gun, designed in the early 1950s to present.

Arctic Warfare Sniper Rifle - Arctic Warfare rifle is a bolt-action sniper rifle. It has proved popular as a civilian, police, and military rifle since its introduction in the 1980s. The rifles have some features that improve performance in very cold conditions (which gave the rifle its name) without impairing operation in less extreme conditions.

The Gevær m/50 would make a good replacement for that shitty hunting rifle. with a bit more punch to boot.

And the MAS-38 or Škorpion vz. 61 since there is so much .32 ammo, you just cant get rid of it fast enough.

Put these weapons in and we won’t need those unnecessary experimental weapons for added variety.
Now if you want an experimental weapon? How about adding in the HK21. It only went as far as trials in sweden.

Then fix the ammunition system. It is really retarded when a pistol and smg don’t share the same 9mm ammo. I mean its a goddamned 9mm! Any pistol, rifle, or smg should shoot it if it is chambered for it. So stop that shit right there.

Now as for machine enemies. We’ve seen the machine gun, smg, and shot gun variants but there needs to be a sniper variant and flying armed variants from the small drones to large terminatoresque like gunships. Then lastly. Human Npc’s, running and hiding from as well as fighting a losing battle agains the machines. And hidden resistance camps with human npc’s. Npc’s in vehicles.

And finally. Skill respeccing ability.

Please make this happen as this game has nigh unlimited potential to expand beyond it’s programming.
Otherwise. Just fix the bugs and make it mod friendly so we can do all the things you devs just never will.

Well well well… Looks like they just did it.

They are finally starting on the road to enlightenment and added these machine guns on the way there.

Ksp 58 machine gun - Or Mag 58. (Swedish: Kulspruta 58) is a Swedish variant of the Belgian FN MAG general purpose machine gun that is currently being manufactured by the Swedish company Carl Gustav and was adopted by the Swedish Armed Forces since 1958.

FN Minimi - Belgian 5.56mm Squad Automatic Weapon, or SAW. First introduced in the late 1970s, it is now in service in more than 75 countries.

Lets hope they add the rest in.

That’s pretty uncalled for, isn’t it? Making demands, and throwing blame at the very same devs that you just asked a bunch of features from.

The devs cant do everything. And it is a fact that they will not. Thats why we have the nexus mod community. And wonderful things have been accomplished there. Take fo4 for example. Skyrim and many others.

Yes , but dont wait to see breathtaking mods on nexus , generation zero is build in apex engine so dont wait to see any mod about weapons and that stuff , right now the only kind of mods people can make for generation zero is about hud and im pretty sure that this might aslo be illegal because avalance didnt give the ok for the already existing mods .

Avalanche don’t mind people modding. But the modding support for the game is limited, probably due to the Apex engine being what it is. You’re allowed to use mods, as long as you’re aware of the risks.

That is why it is necessary for the devs to allow modding. The modding community does 3 things for a game. 1. It extends the longevity of the game. 2. It goes as far as to fixing the bugs devs have ignored ala TWW2 and another game I will not say here. 3. It will most certainly mod in weapons and enemies if the devs don’t. Also Also. The apex engine will need to be patched to be made mod friendly. But this is all on the devs shoulders as we speak. do they make it mod capable and extent the life and increase attraction to the game? Or do they hold fast to whatever principles keeps them from allowing it and kill it, like blacklight retribution, which is a very very dead game. Because we all know they wont put in that hard work to backup what they said and add in all the things of that time period. That wont make them a dime unless it becomes dlc.
