Nightmare survival mode

‘Extremely’ well said. Despite what I’d like to see, I know perfectly well that it will almost certainly never pan out. There are some games out there which are older than GZ but continue to be modded- such as Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 4. That said, it’s irksome that this game just wallows around with no expansions and with no additional storyline- with nothing more than a new weapon (or weapon augmentation) here or piece of clothing there. It’s just a waste of truly great potential. Such is life, I guess.

trust me I def understand. I just found this game in september with the PSN free download. I loved it so much I got all the add-ons. I am nowhere near finished with the main/side missions cause of farming to max level, rivals, base assaults, etc. it has so much potential its crazy. but realistically they would have to fix all the bugs that exist and the co-op connectivity issues for it to really take off again. online co-op play is what keeps most games alive for a long time, Tom Clancy’s Vegas 2 being one I can think of. game was meh, but cause of its online game play that game lasted longer than it should have. there is alot of empty real estate to play with and opportunities to be had but its a big ask of a company that is probably onto another game already with justa skeleton crew working on this one. I would def love to see way more for its future but the likelihood of that is probably nil.

I did the same when I bought the game; I purchased all of the add- ons- even the clothing pack that I never used. It wasn’t that expensive and I wanted to support the developers. I stopped doing that 2 packs back. I wouldn’t give them a dime now. Dropping a weapon here or clothing there is just fleecing people. If they’re not going to concentrate on fixing the bugs and developing one of the islands (they don’t even let people go there, for goodness sakes), then maybe it’s time for them to hang it up and move on- and let modders do what they won’t.

Systemic Reaction just got some free ressources. They dropped Second Extinction.
Maybe, hopefully, they now put more forces into improving GZ.

Sounds like good news.

It would be nice if Gen Zero gets a few of 2nd extinction developers, if the same team did not do work on both of them and ending 2nd extinction only lighten the load. Not allowing talk about mods doesn’t stop the modding community from working on the game. And they ARE working on it. The public co-op maps can get crazy weird at times and it’s not just the skills and weapons that are being edited. The machines and the map too.

One thing that should be done by the dev, is difficulty. Not just change damage and accuracy, but react to attacks. The targeting only on one player while the other 3 get free shots should stop. Machines need to go back to pursuing players and not just chase them. The range that a single machine can alert other machines should be extended with each diffeculty change. And react time increased.

How many times you watch a hunter round a corner to attack you but just stands there. Or come out from cover and take a few shots at a machine before it turns, then fires? And weapons should be more quickly. You come in to close, then run back out and then you see gas. The machines should be able to use close range weapons for close players while still firing at longer range targets.

And from the sounds of it, the new update makes the machines even easier to destroy…Yet to get to excited, other than what bugs will be fixed and what new ones we will get from the update. With AI becoming more of a thing, Gen Zero would be so much more popular with a little AI added to the dumb machines.

FNIX rising, but now for real?
But yes! I see it similarly.

I need a large number of robots! The fields are too empty… =) Probably because I became a real * bone in the throat FNIX*

I feel so scared in that mode,
