Only Host safehouses visible in coop

Platform: PC

Description: I know that latest patch made some changes to unlocking safehouses in multiplayer, but after a long struggle (crash right after trying to join a multiplayer game) I joined some folks and… well… I could only see 11 safehouses on the map (I have unlocked probably all of them in my game)

Steps To Reproduce: Join a game and look at the map.

Host or Client: Client

Players in your game: 3

Specifications: i5 4670K, 16G RAM, GTX 1070

Yes, in solo I can see them all.

And one other thing - all locations, that I discovered, are there. Only safehouses are missing.

I suppose it would make sense if you were a client, and you joined a Host’s game where he had not made as much progress yet. But I’m not sure, it looks odd. Maybe it’s a player synchronization issue.

Also experiencing this. Whenever I join a multiplayer game I only see the safehouses the host has unlocked. I am on PS4.

I imagine this is intentional, you are going into the world of the hosts character and so will only encounter the places that character has unlocked. If you are further along the story than they are and they join your game, they would see safehouses they haven’t unlocked.

Perhaps. It would have been stellar if it had been in the patch notes if it’s intentional. If this is the case I would love for a matchmaking option to find players equal in level.

Equal level matchmaking, that’s the dream.
