You need to destroy the fnix base before you can make it your own if you haven’t done that already.
If you have and the base has turned red. Close game and relaunch. Then the base should be blue again.

iT HAS BEEN LIKE IT FOR A WHILE EVEN AFTER THE gOOD NEWS MISSION, NEXT DAY REVERTED BACK TO A FNIX BASE, I CANT DO BASE MISSION OR BUILD ANYTHING

Not sure if doing the Good news mission again with a new character would help fix it for you first character, but might be worth a try. Mission Start: In the proximity of Lerberget.

new character cant do missions you have already completed
Since the “Landfall” update I started a new game in which I am having problems completing the “Easy”, “Medium” and “Hard” challenges of the “Our New Home” repeatable mission. No problem for the “Good News” mission which is well recorded in the challenges but the “Our New Home” mission does not start even though the map gives me the information to defend the base when I have destroyed enough of machines. In an old game I had never encountered this problem and all the challenges had been completed.
Same with me. Waiting for a patch.
