PERMANENT Experimental KVM

Hi !
I’m a huge fan of the game, I play it with my cousin and my father.

I’m not sure if someone already asked for it… Will the Experimental KVM be soon available again ? And will it become permanently part of the game ?

I had no time to get it in March because of the covid situation (lot of work) and I’m very disappointed. Both my cousin and father are disappointed too.

I bought Himjfall, it should be at least available on the DLC and through apocalypse rivals on the main map, like any KVM… But it isn’t…

The “limited-time” way of unlocking weapons is clearly something that I don’t like and if it becomes a thing in the future I’ll be quickly tired of this game. Being “forced” to play non-permanent events to unlock things as important as weapons is one of the worst dynamic for such a game.

We should be able to unlock any weapon by playing, no matter the day, week or month ! If you want to do an event with more experimental spawn rates it’s okey as long as there is still chances to get the weapon AFTER the event.

Not being able to get this weapon just mean we have to search for somebody that already got it and ask (or pay ?!) for him to give us the experimental because there is no way for us to find it?! This kind of situation would be toxic for the game.

I was happy to finally being able to play and trying to unlock this weapon but now that I know there is no way of getting the experimental KVM, I’ll just stop playing GZ and wait until the May or June Update because I have a lot of rivals and I don’t want to kill them if there is no chance of getting the experimental KVM. I already have all other experimentals weapons and clothes so I don’t want to kill them and getting absolutely nothing new. And it’s annoying to play while trying to avoid fighting rivals…

It would be great to get the experimental KVM as a permanently available weapon soon. And please, never do that unpermermanent thing again ! It’s so annoying and people will just lose interest as soon as the events will stop…

It’s sad because most of the time you tried to make this game better but, by taking content out of the game after an event, you make the game less interesting and more disappointing… I truly hope it’s just a mistake and someone will correct it because, as I said, Games that make “event/time-exclusive” content aren’t really rewarding players, they are only PUNISHING players that can’t play at a specific time. And it’s truly a way of making players lose interest in the whole game… You did a very great job until this error, I’ll be more than happy if you are going to solve this issues !

Until then, you still have my support even if I’ll wait the next update to play again, this game is good and has a lot more potential to explore, good job guys !

i got 2 of them but i also hope that it will be available again for all the players that didn’t get the opportunity to get it.

I have to agree with you, i see no problem as Semla being a time event, but an experimental weapon? any gear or weapon should be permanent not temporary, altough i believe they will implement the weapon later (it would make sense).
For now, what about online communities ? There are some on PS4 and on steam too, even here on the Forum, i m sure someone will be willing to give it to you or willing to trade, i gave one to someone, if i had another one i would give it away.

PS: You sure are lucky, i wish my dad and cousin had an interest in playing this game, it would be a very interesting situation :sweat_smile:

Me toi but then they answered on Twitter to someone that was asking about it. It was only a “march event” weapon and that’s why you can’t get one now no matter how much you try

Yes, maybe there are people that would give me this gift but I still think it wouldn’t be fair if it happens: unfair to solo players, unfair to people that don’t get such a gift and unfair because I didn’t find it by myself or, at least, while sharing loots with teamates.

I just hope they will add it permanently soon…

Well as a returner to the game i’m in the same boat. I was very lucky and got an EAG4, but would very much like to have the Experimental Panasar as I’,m very good at sniping.

And on a personal note, considering the issues the game as had I would have thought they would leave a weapon of this level available to all not just the committed few that have continued to put up with the ongoing developments.

I totally agree with you on all issues. But all the loot system is completely broken, not only for the EXP weapons but also for all the other items with tank and harvesters, it’s a real shame. I am also stopping playing until they fix everything.

It’s not broken, I played co-op with a friend last night and the rivals we dropped gave ample of loot, heaps of ammo (tho we did have the Salvage perk) and my friend got an Experimental AG4 from a Level 3 Harvester.

It could always be adjusted more, though.

For the topic, I’d love to see the Experimental Kvm 59 back in the game. It belongs in the loot pool as an endgame weapon, even as a rare drop.

I think they said on the FNIX riding dev stream the EXP KVM 59 is now permanent. Stream is up on youtube if you want to check it

Yep it is 100% back luckily I have some rivals to crush when its back I would advise you prepare some to try and get the kvm!

Yesterday was the 7th time I downed lvl 4 Tank (3 x Apoc and 4 x FNIX so far) and no experimental KVM 59… My luck sucks in loot drop RNG lottery. :smiley:
