Please allow access to all DLC islands as parting gifts

As parting gift, wouldn’t it be nice if players are allowed access to all DLC islands via bridges and other means, even without additional missions. At the moment they are just lying there like a big tease that only modders can access.and make use of them as their own private playground.

Those who want to explore, take screencaps and would like to hold motorbike racing (especially at DLC island 3) will surely appreciate the additional areas.

No, please don’t! Let’s keep the dream of a future GZ 2 installment alive :grinning: Even though it might be a slim chance …

Yes, I’m still eagerly anticipating the release of HalfLife 3

Me included
…but hope is slowly leaving me.

Don’t give up hope, @0L0. I firmly believe in a purple box with HalfLife 3 and Portal 3 :joy:

Opening up an empty and mission-less island will not affect future development of GZ if there is any, As mentioned, at the moment only modders are rewarded to freely access the remaining DLC islands as their own private playground but non-modders are punished with restrictrictions.

Arent 3 empty islands with nothing to see a bit boring for you guys?

If there were buildings, objects, villages and enemies there i would want it too.
But if its empty with just a few trees rocks (maybe 1 mountain in the big island)
Its a bit boring no?

There are so many other things modders can be punished with, because of the modding…
You know, modding for GZ is against the EULA.

And you aren’t punished, if you can play what you paid for.

I’d just like to be able to explore every locked door and unopenable bunker, or at least after it’s all over with, get a transcript of the lore that “would have” happened. I’d pay for a nice Stalenhag-style hardcover book of the full story. I’ve got all of HIS stuff, why not have what people conspiracy-claimed was based on his stuff, yet wasn’t? :joy:

I’ll edit-add by saying that I wish the devs would sell a physical copy of everything, DLC and all, at end-of-life. I play this with my grandson, and it’s horrible to think that the very first video game he’s ever played (he’s four and pretty darn good!) would someday completely disappear. But hey, we’re still playing a ton of retro games out there, aren’t we?
