With limited inventory and no way to stash things, it’s hard to find a way to really hold onto multiple of these items. I like being able to set traps and lure multiple enemies to them, either with flares or radios, but the fact remains that there’s too many of them and not enough inventory space.
If they were stackable, it would leave room for other things.
I think that would be too OP, and also it’s a bit better for roleplay to not be able to stack them. I think a better solution would be to implement some sort Safehouse storage system to store a plethora of items that you can retrieve as needed rather carrying twenty tanks on you at once.
Yes it need stack 3 or 5…and more stack on ammo…
With over spawn you can’t kill and can’t do much traps… My solo dies only from management loot to put new trap or change quick acess on itrms…
With the exception of perhaps the radios, I strongly disagree. Most of those items are extremely powerful. As with most people above, I’d rather have storage space(s) somewhere.
Perhaps a solution to the quick-access issue there could be this: On the button or key assigned to the quick-slots, a single press could be use, and a long 3-sec or 2-sec hold could bring up a contextual menu to swap consumable in the quick-slot without having the inventory menu every time.
Heeeeeeell no. You want to play a RPG. This is a survival game. You can’t stack 10 boomboxes in your backpack irl can you? No. You can add bullets in a bag; you you can stack those etc. There is a logic to how it is now. You just want to be able to have more loot on you. In that case you shouldn’t play a survival. Survival is space management, decision making on attacking or not etc.
By stacking them you remove half the aspects of a survival game.
The storage spaces, now that would work. But again, not if things start stacking in there. A boombox is still a big thing that would always take up one slot.
Land Mines can be stacked 2x. Dont see why the other small explosives shouldnt also be stackable 2x.
2x might not be much but it still changes those items from useless junk/inventory filler to perhaps something decent.
You have to think about it, Carrying a fuel tank or a boom box is a big item, and unfortunately you don’t have a big inventory. It’s not very realistic to stack items like that. And plus, most of those items are still good without needing more than 1
