Poll On which region you think should be overhauled next

Here’s a poll to see what the community thinks about which region should be overhauled next! Personally I think the mountains because for me it’s a little boring there let’s see what you think…

  • Northern Farmlands
  • Mountains
  • Forest
  • Marshlands
  • North Coast
  • Or development of one of the other islands…

I vote for NC. Admit it - it’s rather plain. Slight makeup (NOT WAR SCARS) would help the cause.
I like the environment there, but it feels… too empty, unfinished.

Yeah I do have to agree the north coast doesn’t really look to have much to offer and there should be a little more rather than a giant massive plain with a town and bunker and FOA facility

Poll5: I could have chosen any region, but another island would be totally new.

Yeah I really want to see what the Devs will bring when we get the island north of himfiel it’s huge and would if given enough time be amazing to explore

I picked Forest since i’d like to see Östervik revamped.

Though, Northern part of the Farmlands (North, NE from the crater) isn’t revamped and that most likely is the next revamp.

Forest for me. Östervik could use some makeover.

I´m on the loosing side this time
I would prefer a new island of course, but the thing is, that requires a lot of time.
I think Mountains should be next, because although it has a lot of trees and hills it´s almost as empty as North Coast or Marshlands are, and it´s on the Border to both South Coast and Farmlands.
I actually think Forest should be the last to be revamped, that way they can really upgrade the “Little town” of Ostervik to a modest city with tons of details and variations.

I actually like the Mountains region and the remoteness in there. I’d be happy if Mountains region remains as it currently is.

I think it will be the less “upgraded” area in the entire game, unless they start deleting lots of trees?
North Coast is too much empty, i bet they are going to put some trenches or a big battlefield zone there.
Marshlands they will do something similar to South Coast.
Forest, if they allow their creativity to grow, Ostervik could have some serious urban combat proof there and some new building design changes.

It would be nice to see Ostervick have some signs of urban combat as in game lore it is the most important place on Ostertorn with the biggest non military port and high population. It would make sense to see a massive urban battle have happened to show the army desperately trying to protect this vital port

Depends on what they mean by “overhaul”. If it refers to just increasing visual variety and detail, I’m not sure. If it means adding more signs of combat, I think that the northern coast makes more sense from a storytelling perspective.

I certainly don’t want the devs to add more destruction to the entire game world, it’s the nostalgic beauty of the world that makes this game so special.

The game does need a bit more destruction in Ostervick though because it barely has any signs of battle atm, I think the game does need to balance completely obliterated places and destruction with a few places of calm

before the destruction of already made places (dont get me wrong it , it will be be fun) , it would ( in my opinion) be awesome to explore new islands

There’s a part of my brain who just thinks they must revamp the entire Farmlands before moving on to something else. Not OCD but… It’s just logical!
And I voted for Forest region next. They should just work their way north. The Mountains is a more desolate region, and a lot more activity and events would be expected to take place around Östervik.

I’m really hoping for a new island, though. And I hope the revamp process doesn’t delay any work on creating a new DLC with a brand new island to explore, which I hope we’ll see sometime within the next 6 months.
