The p90 was developed during the late cold war, although it released the year after this takes place. It was purpose built during the soviet scare but never adopted in large numbers. Is there any chance this could ever be added under another name seeing as how it is the right time period and it no unfeasible it could be found in military areas as a prototype? Maybe under the Name GN Q90 to keep with the slightly off letter naming convention. Its an accurate smg and relatively long ranged, but would be offset by its unique ammo size as well as less stopping power versus armor in all but the Armour piercing version of the round. Seems a good fit for the kind of mobile combat and trekking we are doing, but with some distinct trade-offs.

P90 is one of my fav gun in games, but it would also kinda feel like a reskin of the exp kpist, plus need a lot of custom animations for the bullpup reload. As much as I would like to see it in game, we already have a pretty good 50+ bullets in mag SMG with high RoF covered. That being said, seeing how often this gets requested, maybe we’ll see it with a G11 in a prototype weapons pack.

There are a number of awesome weapons that came out of both Germany and Belgium during this period. There are also a number of other weapons that came from FN that were pretty awesome.
FN FAL 1953-1988

FN FNC 1979-2004
M249 1970-present
They were also the folks who gave us the Minimi, which I think was in the most recent weapon pack (the east european weapon pack if memory serves.)
And on the off chance any of those dates are incorrect, they were sourced from a quick search via wikipedia, so take it up with them.
Actually those are already in the game (in their swedish variants) 
The M249 is the Minimi in US service. And as stated above already in the game as Kvm 89.
