I took my Xbox to a different house and set up to a differenr WiFi. I then went back home, the xbox did not automatically connect my to my normal wifi and said I was offline but I was still able to play Generation Zero. I am wondering now there may not be the issue of the Xbox trying to save to either the cloud or device. My play so far since playing “offline” has saved ok and the autosave icon has not stayed or lingered. So I am hoping if and when I trigger the autosave issue and the game crashes, my save data will be ok. But will update when I know more. Yet to fully work out what was causing the autosave to not resolve itself, seems to be random.
