Procedural houses/world

One thing I see complaints about is the “sameness” about the houses and the way things are laid out. I can’t help but agree with some of it. The upper floor generally has a bedroom right next to a bathroom and the bed is always positioned on the right side of the bedroom, etc.

One thing that might help here, is that aside from key POIs, having things be procedurally generated. Naturally it would take time to come up with a system that does it well, and it wouldn’t be without it’s drawbacks, but it would reduce the “sameness.”

I think this is quite a relevant point and I agree with it. It would indeed be a massive undertaking, but its always good to have things for the devs to add to a roadmap or future updates. Maybe even a sandbox mode.
