i just watched wired gaming’s new video and now I’m at the point of protesting or starting a go fund for generation zero, why did the team change base defense if beta testers thought it was bad UNLESS they might be coming back to the game soon but with only a small team like stalker 2 p.s only a theory
The game won’t be receiving anymore content updates. Possibly another hotfix, but probably not. Story games like this usually don’t have updates like generation zero, it was really cool that they kept updating for 5 years.
In general beta testers aren’t asked for their opinion. They have a checklist with things to test. And they test for functionality of features and issues.
Well, I think that further feedback can also be included, but they don’t release the developers work itself or the strategy of the company.

yes story games usually have the full story out than the dlc’s but generation zero could have gone in any direction but like i said they wired gaming’s video is pretty relatable they could have made some more money and shouldn’t have ended the game with a whole different system
Well, they did ask us for feedback many times. There were specific feedback threads for us to post into as we tested content. And many of the things we suggested ended up getting into the game, which felt really cool. About the last dev letter, it did come across as a bit odd to many of us.
I can’t go into any details (due to NDA) but to me it felt like communcation was a bit lacking the last few
updates. This may not be the game devs’ fault, it could just have been pressure from higher up’s.
Still, feels a bit weird.

I definitely agree! Something just felt like there was pressure being applied. As some things were suggested felt as though it was going to be implemented or changed yet it just came down to certain values that had to be accepted.
So if whatever the testers suggested didn’t seem to be within the set values or choices given, it was disregarded. I probably sound like I’m talking in circles, but I don’t want to violate the NDA.
I just will say that I agree with Zesiir! I felt like pressure was being applied from somewhere!
