Sure, i have my questions with the consoles industry, but NOT to the player’s their disadvantage.
I REALLY think, consoles as it is exploited now, yes, it should basically be banned, as this is a shameless theft, in a way.

Consoles exist for some reasons, they are superior and inferior to PC gaming in various ways.
The World is not Perfect, upgradable consoles would be great, War being Illegal and having Real Wargames to test new warfare would be preferable to having regional conflicts (There are many Deserts where they could test everything).

Personally I love ARK. Great survival with dinos and all kind of creatures ! It had bad times and delays for content like GZ so I’m used to that but it was way easier to wait (major issues were fixed faster). They had similar situations about “technical issues” but they managed it better. It has been years (5 ?) but they keep updating the game and adding content! I would love a mix between Ark and the fighting/hunting gameplay of GZ. (sounds like Second Extinction but I’m not interested in this, I still have “bad vibes” about it after GZ, sorry…)
I speak a lot about GZ in this thread because I start losing hope to see the game being fixed on PS4, most of the people I played with uninstalled the game and play other games now. I did it too, I’m a big fan of the Avengers game (great story+fun way to play with each superhero). I also filled time since April with Maneater, a truly funny shark game !
I’ll listen to what you suggest, I’ll stop writing here and I’ll play other games. This thread just makes me remember how bad the situation is for the GZ on PS4. I’d better forget this, but I’m a bit sad this whole adventure in the GZ world ends up so disappointing. I can’t enjoy this game/universe now so I’d better let all of that down and never come again in this thread and in this game.
I hope things will be fixed soon for PS4 and Xbox, good luck to all of the remaining players !

Sir, that is not necessary, to cut with GZ entirely.
Why not take a break, play another game, and come back in say… 6 months from now, sir.
You will have cooled down from the current frustrations around GZ, and surely the game will be rolling by then on all platforms.
And then it could be darn fun to play (again).
Considering you bought the game, it’s a wee ‘crazy’ to write it of permanently, good sir…
Shelve it for a wee, and try in some time again?

Hey buddy! I get that you’re frustrated and sore about this. Im qurious, and we always want to do better, so i would like to know what information you’d have us communicate instead of telling you guys that we’re putting all our focus into this and working on the issues that we’ve got? We believe that saying something is better than saying nothing, trying to be transparent with the community, and even though we might not have any new news we want to at least keep you guys in the loop with what we’re doing and not totally ghost you.
To comment on the Xbox vs. PS4. We’re not treating them any differently when it comes to priority. There are different issues on these consoles that we’re working on, thus enabling us to work at both console releases at the same time. Even though we’re a small team, we’re fierce and there are some extremly talented developers working on GZ, doing their best to make sure that you get the best content possible. Sometimes that takes time though and we wouldn’t delay any release for fun (which you might figure…). If it were up to us you’d all have the new content back when we released it to PC.
Anyway, there’s a stream today and Paul’s gonna join us. So should you! Pop in, ask all your questions and hopefully you’ll get a bit better view of the situation.
Maybe… people want some more detailed information…

Yes, im sure thats it. However, sharing that line 36890 in the code had a , instead of a ; might not really do that much and can sometimes be information that we cannot share outside the team. However, we are doing our best to keep all of you in the loop. We’ve increased our frequency when it comes to communication around this and are trying to do at least two posts a week updating you guys on the console issues.
Now, this is the PS4 thread so im going a bit off topic, but Microsoft has been really solid and helped us out a lot with that (fetching the save files for us from gamertags that people have submitted). So there hasn’t really been any need for people to gather their save files themselves
