This problem has been around for six months. With new patches, the problem is not solved.
I went through a significant part of the game and now I can’t move on with the game, as when you go from anywhere to the Plundra box, the game hangs. There is nothing left but to close the game through the PS button.
There are not few items in the Plundra box. It is almost packed to capacity. Which I just didn’t do… waited 10 - 20 minutes, there is no result - nothing helps.
This happens in ANY location where there is a Plundra box.
The game is cool - thanks for the game, but it’s a shame that I can’t play for more than six months. I ask for help…

Just to be sure… Is there any difference when playing with the console being online or offline (disconnected from the internet)?
What about the recycling-station, the fmtel-station and your inventory? Anything that looks strange there, like missing translations?
Do you own some of the paid dlc?

Delete your local save and get a fresh save down from the cloud. Solves a multitude of minor problems when they occur for me on Xbox. Hopefully it’s the same on PS.
Thanks for trying to help. But I have little idea how to DELETE a save from PS5. I did this … I had a cloud save from September 20th. I rolled it to the console. Those. downloaded this save from the cloud to the console. Unfortunately, nothing helped, which is logical since I said that I have not been able to play for six months. Manage saves from the cloud and take a save there, for example, two months earlier - there is no such function in PS

This seems to be an issue with old saves and DLC. It’s some kind of corruption from what I understand. Does this issue go away with a completely new save?

Thanks to the update, I created a new game with a new character.
From the very beginning of the game, I cleared the first location and went to the church as per the plot. The church has the first Plundra box on the way.
I approached him - I open and I was shocked. The same as on the old character and the old game.
Nothing has changed and the opening progress bar hangs in the same place. Well, the game freezes.
The Plundra contents are saved across different worlds. So you’re still playing on the same save.
I meant deleting the save file and starting over completely. That would ensure that the Plundra is empty from the start. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

it seems to me that this is an extreme case, if the developers say that they cannot solve the problem.
You could try to make a backup of the safegame to the cloud, delete the local safegame, start the game and move to the first plundra.
If everything is fine, restore your cloud-safegame and start the game again and check a plundra. Maybe this could help.

What I did.
Uploaded a save to cloud storage.
Went into the game, deleted the characters from the game, deleted all the worlds from the game.
Restarted the game.
Started a new game with the character of the opposite sex and with English voiceover that would test it.
Got to the first plundra box in the church.
And was very surprised that it had no effect. The same thing I did on the safes.
I’m very frustrated.
I bring here my safes from the console, perhaps it will help the developers find the bug.

Go to the playstation file system and delete the Generation Zero saves.
Why do you want to do this?
You are able to go to https://apex-connect.avalanchestudios.com/, login into your account and then delete it. You will be logged off, but you can immediatly click to restore your account and it will not be deleted.
But the account has nothing to do with your savegame-file.
