Hey, I just purchased the game, its fantastic btw, but I am running into a bug with the quest system, if I go and explore and pick up a weapon I found then later on I pick up a quest to go back to the house / area to find a gun and its not there as I already picked it up then the quest wont move onto the next part or complete, and another quest is to find information inside the bunker to find where everyone is, but I already picked that note up moments before getting the quest, now that quest wont carry on or complete, so I am in limbo atm. This is on Xbox One X btw.

The Hunter mission , You been to cars and taken letter ? If yes go to house with rifle go upstairs and take sight of window sill. Before this make sure you quit game to home screen then start game up. I will be on forum for next half hour, thats it nothing else to do but get gun and sight _good luck

Your bunker mission , more details on this ‘’ did you power up bunker ‘’ did you collect both the notice board item and papers on coffee table next to pistol ? Thats all u need for bunker mission

This will probably be the last guides i can give with out spoiling anyones fun just starting out on G-Zero , there are plenty of guides on youtube to help out any body needing a visual guide , much better than me rambling on , although you may come across bugged mission’s like some of us on here the majority of them have already been reported and Acknowledged by the Development Team,

Thank for that, managed to finish that quest, but after the update on Xbox I am back to lvl 1 and all my inventory is empty lol. Good times.
EDIT ~: Sorted my lvl and inventory problem.

The game is a bit funny about missions.
Sometimes you have to do things in the exact order that the designers want, other times you can carry things out in a slightly different order .
for now , completing a mission in its order is the best way to not glitch it, eg so dont get item 4 when you need item 2 (as cta102 said) , staff are working on this as explained in online streams.
I too have the same issue with The Hunter mission. I found the rifle. Discarded it once I found better equipment, and then, quite by chance found the letter. Now I have The Hunter mission but I cannot complete it.
So now I cannot complete the Important Public Announcement Challenge.
I’m a bit peeved.
I am in the same boat. Restarted the game as suggested above, but it did not help.
EDIT: Huh, the quest Treasure Hunt does not have this issue. Just reversed it no problem.
