Questions about the skills "Visibility" and "Movement noise"

These two skills I have never tried, and not heard much about them either. I would love to know how they work in combat, since I have no issues sneaking past enemies outside of combat.

So some examples:

  • I engage enemies guns blazing. They see me and engage. I choose to run to the back of a building, into a building, hide behind a rock or whatever. Will these skills in any way help with hiding from enemies in this scenario, sort of a stealth/cloak ability?
  • I engage an enemy from distance with a suppressed sniper rifle. Around my target are a few other units as well. Will I be able to snipe away without even being detected with these skills?

Or are they simply only really useful outside of combat to sneak past enemies easier?

You can do that without any skills. Been doing it since launch.

As far as 1st example goes, machines have certain time before they give up on you, unless they have OPV or when you continue produce sound (e.g moving around in the house). So, i don’t think either of the two skills helps you to escape combat faster.
