I’m sure I read somewhere that you can re-read docs that you have picked up previously but I cannot find them anywhere, or at least the latest one.
I thought I could pick it up, go back outside (the room is full of gas) and read it there, but I’ve no idea where it is!
If it’s a part of a mission then I don’t know which mission.
Am I out of luck?
Go to the mission in your log screen. The documents are attached to the missions, you’ll see all the collectibles for that mission underneath the objectives on the right side. All you need to do is move your cursor/joystick to the right towards the collectibles and you can select to view from there. Each collectible will ultimately be attached to the missions in your logs though, that’s where you want to look for them. Hope this helps, cheers mate!
All the documents I’ve collected BTW are all part of a mission, main or side. Pretty sure any readable will be part of a mission. Review what you did or where you were when you got the note, and look through your mission log to see if you can find anything in the area you were in, or pertaining to what specifically it was you were doing. Essentially, retrace your steps mission style 
Is it possible to re-hear monologues from the NPC’s on Himfjäll? It might be an odd question, but I got disturbed during a monologue from Anita, and I think she said something important regarding the story.

It seems I missed the small “Mission items” icons to the bottom right. I’ll wander through them to see what I can find.
As far as I know, it is not possible.
It can also happen that you pick up mission items for missions you haven’t gotten, yet. Then you might not be able to re-read them.
Hmm, that’s going to be annoying although in this instance it has a mission marker on it, so I expect I will be able to find it.
@wardmw happy to help man, I will say this though: I’ve made it a point now whenever I’m doing a mission to verify I’ve searched every crack and crevice of an area I’m sent to for a mission before I actually do the objectives. My main mission “Lost and Found” is permanently screwed up because there was a document in the garbage truck I didn’t pick up and when I saw the pods I knew what I had to do, and blew them all up before doing a thorough search of the area. It cost me dearly so keep that in mind!
@IanForce I hate it when that happens. I had the same issue I missed an Anita monologue. Haven’t figured out a way to be-hear NPC’s yet but I do know you can RE-hear the mainland audio logs the same way I described up top. Sadly no, so far I can’t tell you how to rehear Anita. 
Some games store transcripts for dialogues. Would be a nice touch.
@pegnose 100% agree it would be a really nice touch. I’ve got 2 kiddos and I’m a single dad, shit happens and sometimes I miss dialogue. Help a dad out Devs!
