Just shot a Reaper on its last legs and boom, it vanished. No loot for a 20 minute battle! And have had Vulture vanish 2 -3 times after defeating it. What the Hell is going on? This only started after the devs did their final update. I think they broke more stuff than fixed with final update. The new island is so barren of enemies i actually forget it’s there. The grinding base defenses to get building materials, garbage. Even Himfjall is now almost barren of enemies.

Old bug, comes and goes. They usually reappear if you restart the game. At least for me.
The amount of enemies on himfjall has never changed, at least not that I know of. But as for the tyrants disappearing I’ve never had it happen to me before, but I don’t recommend doing the reaper fight since it’s pretty much completely broken. The base defense grind can be quite annoying since you don’t get as much resources as i think you should, but it can still be pretty fun if you’re setting up your base right.

It’s like with any other region that you’re constantly farming. The machines just don’t respawn as fast you’re hunting in some cases.
I had times where himfjäll or north coast and archipelago seemed to be totally empty. These regions aren’t as big and don’t have so many machines in general.
For farmlands, where I usually hunt, I never had this feeling, maybe because of these many hotspots and bases which take some time to clear.
