Now when i have encountered this new fearsome enemy multiple times.
Time to give some feedback.
Based on playing guerrilla difficulty
Fear factor: Same as any Mil or FNIX tank. First time gives little tingle.
Difficulty: Increased bullet sponge with specific spots to deal.
Death factor: Instant. Even with clear indications, possible instant death possible.
Pretty much this new target wont give any other than more expended ammunition and some health kits.
Latest one i killed, it didnt drop any 5* or EXP loot. Dont know if this is WAI. Other times always got EXP weapon. No EXP KVM.
Give this never enemy something different, make it chase player around the map. This is the machine what should be trying to end the resistance menace (kill player).
Every time player engaged in combat, this reaper should start traveling to players direction. Random times it could also start to run towards players location.
Current spawn mechanic is also quite tedious, most of casual and/or normal players will struggle to get this monstrosity to spawn.
I’ve encountered thee reaper a couple of times now. Both solo, and in MP (not host in MP). And I’ve only got EX weapons in MP, but the host haven’t gotten any. But a shit load of ammo.
Don’t know if the difficulty has something to do with this, but in Adv, and Skir, you just need to shoot him one time and he will come for you. He is easier to lure to a safe house then a rival. So he is somewhat of a walk in the park when he chases you.
Reapers are boring. Like tanks and harvesters (why do harvesters even exist?) They are WAY too slow to be any fun. A tank that you can’t shoot half the time? That’s it?
It would have been cool to see a challenge tree come along with the Reaper. Like get Reaper kills, take out x amount of shield generators. Along with some titles. “Reaper Killer”, “Reaper of Reapers”, or just simply “Reaper”.
Since the update, they are all unbeatable for me!
It senses I am the superior one who will win eventually, so it cheats and crashes the game every time I fight it. Coward!
I’ve encountered the dreaded Reaper twice now and to be honest, I love him. I don’t troll the net looking for info about games or how to do this/that. I prefer to figure it out by myself.
My first Reaper kill took me 3 days. But I learnt a little about him and how he does his thing.
My second Reaper took 9 hours. and as I have the farmlands up at Level 25, my third Reaper spawned within seconds of a kill.
The best thing about this latest update is that it appears the Godmode cheats, that so many are using, dont work anymore (Only a matter of time till they fix that I suppose), and the cheaters are staying away in droves as they can’t play this game without cheating.
Few days ago I destroyed mi first one (without self destruct). I wanted to see how big of an impact will doing 100% damage to its optics… and it surpassed my expectations. The Reaper was shooting blind at a general location I was shooting from few seconds ago, he stopped using thermobaric attacks, and after a while it went full EMO, just walking past me and stopping at one point waiting to be put down.
Fun fact about the reaper I just learned a few minutes ago it will despawn if you drop the region score. I accidentally killed a rival in a firefight and it straight up disappears off the map
This might be a bug, just dropped region score on purpose below lvl 21. Reaper is still there, not disappeared. Or this the old bug where machines sometimes drop trough ground and die.
Oh well I didn’t need the loot anyway.
