I play in a PS5 for my version, if it might be a issues or not, but I’ve had a file for a very long time. I decided to hop back into the game a few days ago and saw the changes and heard of new experimental weapons that sounded fun.
Wanted to try the Reaper fight after being gone for so long to see if I still had it in me, so I looked uo how to spawn him again. I gathered over 600 data for FNIX and tried spawning him in. The first time I tried doing it, I got no notice of him spawing like the previous fight with the Vulture. I went back to the terminal and tried it again to no luck. I just cleared the base out, went to a new base, and tried it a third time. Nothing happened but all my data was taken from me. I have bo clue if the threat needs to be higher or not. The Vulture was spawned in when I had threat level 17, so I dont know what to think with my data still being taken from me.
If anyone has any idea what I did wrong or if the game is messing with me, that would be awesome to know.
People have reported this on the Discord in the past with the Vulture. From what i remember, the Vulture was still found roaming in the region they attempted to spawn it in so i would suggest to scout the region for any unmarked Reapers.

Happened to a friend of mine with his Reaper and happened to me once. I put the data in and nothing happened, so I assumed it was bugged. I left it alone and went on to fight other machines. And while I was fighting in the Farmlands region, I spotted the Vulture in the distance. It was there along, but I never got a notification nor did it show up on my map. So yes, as Indo suggested, roam around the region a bit and see if it’s there.
Thats good to know. Hoping it wont be a pain to find then if thats the case. Would it have spawned more since I tried three times?

If a bug can cause what you experienced, it maybe also can cause that you have more than one at a time.
Isn’t the button for the vulture, for example, on the station locked usually, if you already spawned one?
It wasnt locked for me when I hovered over it. Said I could call him in if I wanted, but didnt want to just in case it glitched like the Reaper
Update, the only time he doesnt show up on the map is in the Farmlands. Plus, if he doesnt show up, killing him doesnt give credit to the Reaper challenge for speed reloading. I killed it twice in the Farmlands and got no progress. Havent had a Vulture issue so far though thankfully.
