Resitance NPC's

  1. i have an idea for new GZ update, heres the breakdown

reistance base surviors update

Spawning Survivors Sleeping Mats: When you build a sleeping mat, a random resistance survivor spawns. This could be a man, woman, boy, or girl, of varying ages.

Role Assignment: You can assign each survivor a permanent role, such as defender, resource gatherer, or cook. This allows them to manage their own needs and contribute to the base.

Survivor Limit Capacity: You can have up to 10 sleeping bags, meaning a maximum of 10 survivors at your base. This keeps the system manageable and balanced.

Benefits to the Player Defense: Survivors assigned as defenders help protect the base during assaults, and you get resource cuts, as well as you can hire some fighter npc’s and they fill follow you and fight for you like your runner, but you only get them for an hour.

Hired guns can be brought in for additional support.

Resource Gathering: Survivors assigned as resource gatherers leave the base to find food and supplies. They go on 3-day resource runs, then return to rest for 3 days before repeating the cycle.

Resource Cut: You receive a cut of the resources they gather. For example, if they find 50 units of wood, you get 10 units (20%).

Gameplay Dynamics Self-Sustaining Base: With survivors managing their own needs and contributing to the base, you have a self-sustaining resistance community. Your primary role is to protect and lead.

Strategic Management: Deciding how to allocate your survivors and manage resources adds a strategic layer to the game. Immersion: Seeing survivors perform their roles and interact with each other creates a lively and immersive environment. Additional Features Microwave and Cooking: Survivors can use buildable items like microwaves to cook food, improving their morale and health.

Entertainment: Adding entertainment options can boost the mood of your survivors, leading to more positive interactions and a happier base. Chores and Maintenance: Survivors can be seen doing chores and maintaining the base, adding to the realism and immersion.

Npc converstaions: You can interact with npc’s each with many lines of dialogue

Doesn’t sound that bad, but also doesn’t sound like a thing for this GZ. The whole new systems needed for that would take too much time, persons and money to develop them, I guess.
There currently isn’t a single npc with more animations than a static, fixed idle animation. Nothing dynamic yet.

So maybe a thing for a gz2?

Yeah, while I like the idea, it feels a lot like Fallout 4. Certain locations, have so many beds needed for each survivor and assigning jobs. I think its great, but like Madchaser said, its something I don’t see them working towards with this version. But again, I like the idea!
