On PC I was doing the quests to get the companion and got to the very end but I wasn’t able to build it completely because I was out of steel, went and got some came back and it wouldn’t let me build it or it did let me build it but now its stuck inside my storage box and I cant get it out.
Well, the companion mustn’t be placed into the storage.
It seems that it was unintended that we were able to put it there. With one update the devs blocked the ability to pick it up from the storage to prevent Players moving it to other characters.
With the newest update on steam they seem to have turned it to not being able to store it into the plundra, but to be able to get it out of there, if it once was placed there in the past.
I don’t know for sure, but that’s how I understood previous reports.
Do you have the newest update installed (released 2 days ago)?
Can you add a screenshot of your storage with the companion inside (and selected)?
Did you ever use any mods?
I thought I would reply to this thread as it is the most relevant bug. My player base and I have been playing for a couple of weeks. over the last couple of days, two of my friends have found that their companions were transferred to their plundra. One didn’t know when it happened as steam crashed and when we came back, the pet was in the box. The other transferred all and the pet went with his inventory. To recreate, I made a backup and then transferred my pet using transfer all. The pet can not be removed from the box. Below is the bug report copy and past with what details I have. Anyone know if this is being addressed? If there is a fix. We scoured the internet for fixes, but it appears that last time this happened was in July.
