I had 84% of safe houses that got wiped with the new update , also picking items up is glitchy

Which system do you play on?
For playstation it’s a known random bug that may affect your world(s). It’s currently unknown what causes it, so there is no fix and it may happen randomly again and again. For me it’s now every day in my first world and started with Landfall update, but doesn’t happen in my second world until now.
The inventory bug that you mean is also known and there should be a fix in the next update.
