Showdown Update Broke DLC Deployables and more

I bought most of the DLC packs right before the last update. Everything was working fine until now. Now when I try to place any of the DLC deployables they just vanish…NOTHING! It takes them out of my inventory but does nothing. A toy dog lure is one thing to loose…but when your machine gun and mortar turrets vanish that is painful.

The companion does this as well…sometimes. Or I will be in a fight and it will just vanish from the field and my inventory. I have to go to the station and click on it to get it back…then it will work again sometimes then it doesnt…usually right when you really need it.

I will also join in the outrage over the ridiculous new crafting changes and especially the augment requirements. SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT WANT TO DO BASE ASSAULTS/DEFENSES!! Too much work for so little reward.

I’m at level 96 right now with more hours in this game that I’d like to admit. I’ve been able to deal with the severe lagging and a few other bugs over the years but this has just ruined the game. I have cleared the cache on my Xbox Series X several times now and the problems persist.

I dunno…maybe at 64 years old my patience or BS meter is too limited anymore. After the showdown update was announced I decided to show my support and buy the game other than just playing free on Game Pass…then this. Fool me once!

If they dont want to fix the game at least give us back our money… but I’d rather they fix the game.

They said there will be a hotfix in January, hopefully the hotfix will fix most of that.

I hope so. In the mean time I’ve gone to just stockpiling as much ammo and resources as I can get. In the past couple days I’ve had to transfer 10’s of thousands of rounds to another profile just to be able to save items.

The only new experimental I have so far is the EXP HP5. I like it…its great for those jumpy bastards like the runners, Lynxes and Seekers. I think people dont like it because they wait for it to lock on then shoot but that doesnt work. You have to use it like any other gun and it will lock on while you are shooting. Still cant get the others to drop though even after 100’s of machines of all kinds and areas…especially ANY Exp’s at all. I use to get a few daily before. I swear if I get another AT-WAD or Vintova? I’m gonna stroke out. Dunno.
