I hear people keep asking for a higher level cap for the game but seeing as the more people join a session (providing “Difficulty Scaling” is turned on) the harder the game gets, so my suggestion is instead of increasing the level cap (because it would simply make the game FAR easier with more players, especially at the lowest difficulty)
Is to introduce “Skill Point Scaling”, “Infinite Dynamic Skill Respec” and a dedicated solo mode for when your internet is craphouse
“Skill Point Scaling” you ask? well first of all it means if your playing solo, your able to unlock all skills and their tiers, HOWEVER, CO-OP means you are locked to half of all skillpoints, same goes for 3 players and seeing as 3 is a odd number round the divided skillpoints up to the nearest whole digit for everyone, and the same goes for 4 players, makes more sense now doesn’t it? it adds a new grade of difficulty
same goes for Dynamic Respec, just because we make a typo in 1 word doesn’t mean we erase the entire book to fix it, that’s literally what will happen to Skill Scaling in multi-player which would need a “disconnect>Reconnect” to rectifiy it without that feature
I dont have to explain in detail why we NEED a Offline/Solo mode but i’ll say a few words to those that dont know, you just cant play the game without internet, why? F’d if i know, we have the possibility to play on our own so why DO we need an internet connection? (not talking about steam conection) but if that isn’t the case then the game crashed mid-game when i disconnected from the internet, so, bug?
