Skill tree question

Is it the first specialisation you enable that is the one that going to be active, or the last?
I think it’s the first. :coffee:

I would say none. Tested and focused on Combat skill and the Specilalization Marksman that would give No weapon sway and/or Vanguard - 25% less damage. No sway is for sure not working and 25% less damage don’t feel active either.

Then a reset with just one, first Marksman - No weapon sway, but weapon sways anyway.
Then a reset and selected Vanguard - 25% less damage, still takes damage as before.

It feels like it got bugged after I had starten to chose some more then just a few extra skills, before the specilalization and a reset and restart don’t help so far.

Other skills or specilalizations in the tree that was selected after I started to distribute the extra skill points also seems to be bugged. Mechanic skill or Commander and Survivor specilalization, Survivor did work when I just used a few point, my Support tree was empty with no skills so I used the minimum to unlock skills so I could chose the Survivor.
Then I started to use more points on skills after a week, not specilalizations, and it started to behave strangely. Survivor broke and other skills seems not to be active.

In your screenshot your active specialization is hacker. Does that still work?

Haven’t tested, it was active because it was the last specialization I added when I filled everything up.

Didn’t test certain ones, but I noticed that a sniper hunter shot brings me down to about 32 HP instead of 9 HP as it was before.

So it was the last skill enabled.

Testing with Hacker on right now, works. Fun, I’ve haven’t used that for years and now with intrusive machines it’s another level.

Tested Enginner before, not that fun. Lost count on machines killed and looted without any pods anywhere.

I went to sleep as a marksman and woke up as a hacker. I spent 2 hours causing discord between enemy machines and have fun. Today this bug was a feature.

It seems that the skills are working as intended, just the specialization that is swapped or even disabled.

What difficulty were you playing on? Could this variation be caused by changing the difficulty?

No, always played on skirmish.

Today I woke up as a survival. Switch to commando and star a fight with 8 tanks and a lot of hunters. Took several sniper shots and with each one my health dropped from max to 8 hp, in skirmish difficulty. I don’t know if the numbers are ok but to me it seems like the skills are working as intended, except for the specializations. Good morning everyone.

I did set the difficulty to guerilla day one and have never changed it.

Agree about that’s just specialization that lives its own life. Sometimes when you change it you’ll instant know it didn’t take effect… :headstone: Other times it just work perfect. When it dosen’t it seems best to just restart the game. Keep changing it will not work either.
