Thank you for finally indicating that a weapon attachment that is stored in the Plundra is attached to a weapon!
Hey Carni,
there is so much I could refer to and say something, but in general it just sounds great. I’m really exciting in testing it later.
Just one thing I’d like to mention…
We hunt rivals, soviets or FNIX, to get keys from them, for soviet or FNIX tyrants.
That makes sense, that soviet rivals don’t have an effect on a reaper any more.
These keys now are used to enter them in a terminal in a lvl3 FNIX base, where we have to enter a hatch after desctivating the shield generators.
- Will we get soviet bases some day, too?
- What Happens, if the command center or the hatch is destroyed (by another player) while we’re still inside the tunnel, using the terminal?
Besides of that:
Can you tell me, if the building blocks mission now is fixed? In my 2nd world I was unable to finish it because of a missing FNIX base.
If we get x-number of data chips, how many do we need to get the search info at the FNIX base?
Can it be that we get enough data Chips by killing one level-4 Apo Tank, for instance?
You need 200 FNIX Data for a Reaper and 200 Soviet Data for a Vulture. So 2 APOC Tanks at level 4 or 2 Spetsnaz Firebirds at level 4 are enough
It might just be me but I think the DRS (dynamic resolution scaling) on console is broken.
I think it used to use DRS in combat to keep the frame rate up and get blurry rather than drop frames.
The game seems slightly sharper to my eye but the frame rate is appalling. Any kind of transparency effects, smoke, particle effects or god forbid you or a machine is near water when you’re in combat can see the fps drop in to single digits. Combat feels awful.
Is just an Xbox issue or is anyone else seeing similar? Actually I’ll update my PS5 and try there.
Playing on PC - I noticed some odd behaviour in the map view, distances are not shown correctly when using the mouseover functionality. It’s either showing the same distance for various map-icons within any different distance or if far away shows something like “inf km”…
Plus the cluster bombs of APOC Tank rivals did no harm anymore ? The same occured with the rocket attack of APOC Hunters. All of them seemed to vanish in thin air just like when the APOC Hunter is trying to shoot at a target that is too near. That happened on the hillside of Rönhalla shelter during a Rival battle.
Btw about those “Batteries”… would have been nice to call them what they are ingame… EMP packs (s/m/l) made from those smaller batteries… but NO car batterie EMPs…
Edit: single player game…
The filter of the Plundra no longer “saves”
- Example… I like to have things on chronological order, for me it helps organizing stuff.
Everytime i go to the Plundra i have to choose the filter
Inventory is ok
One good thing no one has still mentioned, attachments inside the Plundra appear as attached or not, we no longer need to get all the weapons out to see whats not being used .
I can also confirm that APOC Tank/Hunter Mines/Cluster bombs no longer work, they just disappear.
The machines, now more than ever seem more blind and slower to detect us
- Example " I shoot from Area X, stop shooting and go running in the other direction, a runner is coming from that direction, passes by me going to Area X"
Their detection capacity has worsened so basically the game is more easy now.
The new inventory looks really nice.
As addition to the heavy weapons pack:
- Iron consor can attach a silencer or a compensator plus the extended magazine.
- RACS12 can attach a choke or a silencer.
No attachments for the other guns.
No scopes can be attached on none of the guns.
The Vulcan could use an extended drum magazine, as expected it burns ammo very fast.
It also seems to have the same bug from the RPK, 7.62 ammo does not drop . (not 100% sure)
Do you just have the Vulcan equiped (for 7.62) while experiencing this?
I use the rpk, too, but also have an AI-76 equipped and get some 7.62 here and there, from world loot and machines. But it’s not much… While I very often get lots of 9mm handgun ammo.
I have the RPK and the Vulcan.
I had an AG4 before, took it out to test this theory.
I can sign the issues with apoc Hunters and apoc tanks.
The hunters grenades don’t do damage and the Tanks mines disappear immediatly. Apoc harvesters on the other hand work as they should.
I have not had this issue at all. even with the minigun in use.
But yes, the minigun as expected burns through ammo. I am glad it has a 350 round magazine!
@Madchaser @sabredog66 It seems i have the issue, went to a bunker and not a single box had 7.62 ammo, which is very unusual, boxes inside containers in another area also had not a single 7.62 bullet.
Btw,
You cannot repair a companion any more by applying a new armor. You still have to use a repair kit to repair it.
host player view is gone on map when zoom. and filters show nothing. PC-steam
Does the vulture have its own blueprint?
I know it wasn’t mentioned in the patch list, but neither were the parachuting lynxes.
Read somewhere it drops as part of the first Vulture kill loot pool.
Platform: I play on pc via steam
Description: due to the inventory system change with the skyfire update, I believe I have soft-locked my runner companion into my inventory storage chest. before the update, my companion was in my storage chest, now after the update, I cannot retrieve my companion. my friend tested it and he cant even put his companion in his storage chest. I think I soft-locked myself unintentionally. For the record, I was playing this morning before the update around 3am eastern standard time (us and canada), its currently 9:30pm EST.
Players in your game: I was playing in a single player world with it set to friends via invite only
