Just a slight annoyance, as I still have 500+ to go.
I did some testing if the suppressor did any difference on ticks, and I started counting the fast 2 kills per run, and noticed most of the time, even if making them both engage in combat, or killing both unaware, most of the times only one counted?
Out of the 2x ticks in that barn, one is FNIX while another isn’t. My guess is that killing FNIX tick doesn’t grant you kill since you’d be exploding it’s explosive to kill it. FNIX tick is kamikaze tick who blows itself up by detonating it’s explosive. And you won’t get kill awarded to you when machine blows itself up.
I did that pest control challenge by mainly killing military ticks dropped by FNIX tank since latter has unlimited supply of ticks, as long as you don’t kill the tank or doesn’t shoot the tick pod off. Though, it was very tedious thing to do.
Hmm… But normal FNIX ticks counts (well I don’t make a note of every kill, just noticing it going up during big fights in co-op)
And at times they both counted, even is I did nothing different from the other tests.
I refuse to do the rest of pest control on those two buggers, They have almost lived in that barn as long as me in the other barn by now, so I see them as annoying neighbors
I just got stuck there a while to see what made them go into fully detected/engage in combat, when I noticed most of the times I just got one to count as killed.
As crafting is heavily hinted for the next update I don’t want to waste materials into skills that don’t seem to make any difference… But heck, I’m sneaking around and being a coward when soloing anyway, and nothing can stop the insta-kills when they manage to hit at the same time.
Running through a minefield of beach ball sized bombs raining down doesn’t make the decisions easier
As it seems the items have a negative effect at same percentage for something else too doesn’t make it easier either.
