I don’t know where did you get that icon, but it is not the one from original game EXE.

Seriously? I reinstalled GenZero just before making this important thread and I got this ugly pixelated desktop ICON, I always had this one… that’s very weird then…
Check the game directory. Maybe your low-res icon is provided by Steam.

The low-res one is the one Steam do by default. If you right-click the low-res icon and select to change icon, you can browse to the Generation Zero folder and select GenerationZero_F.exe. You will then get the high-res icon. Note, dont change the shortcut to GenerationZero_F.exe, just select GenerationZero_F.exe for the icon.

This isn’t a bug. It’s more along the lines of Feedback, if even that.
Please consider posting an actual issue next time.
