Steps To Reproduce:
Activate Generator and find answering machine message before picking up the book near the stairs that lead to the generator room. If the book is picked up after activating the answering machine in the command center the computer won’t be able to be interacted with, blocking the mission from proceeding past the command center.

Hi, I got the same bug yesterday.

My sequence

  • re-established the power,
  • activated the answering machine in the command center,
  • found the book near the stairs close to the generator room,
  • logged out from the game
  • re-logged to the game
  • impossible to open the artillery bunker door, completely STUCK in the quest.

Please find a fix or a workaround, I cannot go further with the main quest.

Yup, exact same. Seems like activating the answering machine before the book completely breaks it.

I understand some quest bugs will not be fixed soon or not at all retroactively. My playthrough was dated a day before the 25-th May update. I started a new game today.
