Heres a feature that would be nice : the ability to split item stacks, because when i want to give bullets to the boys but im using then it aint nice
so yeah that’d be pretty fegin cool

I’ve been wishing for that feature for ages too.
There is work around, sort off. Its not stack split.
Reload your weapon
Drop all that ammo type
Remove bullets from weapon
Your have now one clip of bullets in different stack.
Has been requested many times, also by myself. It is something that often comes up in the beginning of thee game. Later on, you tend to have so many stacks of the ammo you use that it becomes a non-issue. Would be nice to have, but soon becomes sort of irrelevant.
EDIT: This is not entirely correct. Splitting a stack of adrenaline would even make sense later in the game.

First of all, awsome update. The option to control multiple players adds a whole new dimension to the game. I love it!
It does introduce a question about sharing items, though. Is there a way to share only a selected number of the same item with another character? This would be especially helpful when sharing food. (I have 3 food rations, but only want to share 1). [spam link redacted]

Thinking more about splitting stacks, I’m not sure (personally) when I’d use it.
Health packs? Splitting a stack of ten? So far I find that if I’m low, I’m more likely to find them as loot, and if my buddy is short I might as well give a whole stack. Adrenaline? I don’t personally use it (just my playstyle, I’m not immortal) and give away whole stacks. Ammo? Again, I wouldn’t want to split a stack of 240 whatever. Might as well give it all and use a different weapon or vice versa. Flares / grenades etc? Whoever has them uses them in my games. No biggie.
Personally I would think it might be a ‘nice to have’ but I doubt I use it much.
I play solo so I don’t need to worry about sharing ammo with anybody but it could be useful for moving my items around. I try not to overuse adrenaline and wouldn’t mind splitting and only bringing half a stack out of the plundra.

Sure, but that costs inventory space. Few players would do that, probably.
